Brian Hughes

Brian has over 25 years of financial, operational and executive management working with Fortune 500 and lower middle market companies.

Prior to joining Waypoint Private Capital, Brian was the Chief Financial Officer for two lower middle market technology companies.  After professionalizing the financial departments of both companies and guiding them through significant growth, he helped the owners of the companies exit the company.  He has walked in the shoes of a selling business owner, having participated in preparing a company for sale, participating in management presentations to potential buyers, responding to buyer inquiries during due diligence, and completing audits and QOE examinations.  The companies were either owned by or sold to private equity firms.

Brian started his career as a computer programmer before joining Wal-Mart, where he spent 14 years in financial management roles
